Made in Montana since 1976... Wooden trains, trucks, helicopters and more are all handmade using maple, walnut, oak, and birch. Then they are hand sanded to rounded corners, finished and detailed with a natural oil finish. The colored pieces are a non-toxic toy enamel. Each piece is a work of art and will engage a child's imagination. These beautiful toys are sturdy enough to be played with and lasting enough to be handed down from generation to generation. Because of the recent toy recalls, we want to assure you that all of our toys with a prefix of DM are made by Don in Stevensville MT. The colored pieces are a water based, child safe toy enamel applied by a factory in the United States. All of our wood comes from sustainable forests in the United States. The oiled finish we use is also on the "safe substances" list.
